2020 ADA Awards nominee for the R&B category Yo Boy Ken has publicized dates for the relelease of his new album dubbed ‘Apologies’. Yo Boy Ken is a versatile personality who apart from singing also produces music, composes songs, shoots videos and also has ventures in photography.
He started his professional music career just two years ago in 2019 and put out his first studio album ‘Up the sleeve’ in 2020 off which some songs got him recognized and nominated in the ADA awards.
The singer speaking to us from his Ediofe based ‘Yo studios’ confirms that his second album ‘Apologies’ is slated to drop on 30th September which also happens to be his birthday. According to Ken,the album ‘Apologies’ is inspired by the need for humanity (people) to start acknowledging their own mistakes and apologizing for them.
"We are all human and prone to make mistakes. The difference is in apologizing when you are wrong but instead many choose to defend their wrong actions or walk away and yet life revolves around Apologies" said Ken.
